The CEO of Shatta Movement and Self acclaimed African Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. (formerly Bandana), is a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician.
He is best known for his song "Dancehall King", which led to winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
He traveled to Jamaica to learn dancehall and rebranded himself from Bandana to Shatta Wale after he had returned from Jamaica to Ghana to rebuild his household name.

The multiple award winner shot to the limelight again with great energy in 2012 where he made couple of hit tracks of which his  "Dancehall King" banger led him to win the Artiste of the year in the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The 'taking over' hit maker has released a lot of back to back hits and his consistency throughout his come back has really been excellent till now.
Although, it is obvious that the "Real hustler" hitmaker stepped on Samini through an unhealthy beef to gain recognition both in Ghana and Africa and it is true that his plan really worked for him.
The 'Ayoo' banger owner has set records as the only Dancehall artist in Ghana to have released over 150 songs as at 2016 and about 107 tracks within  the year 2017.
The African Dancehall King as he calls himself has only one album and a mixtape to his credit. That is, "The after the Storm album" & the "Cloud 9 mixtape" respectively.

The 2017 African Entertainment Awards (USA), Dancehall Artiste of the year, is set to release his second studio album and he calls this one "Reign".

This presupposes that he Shatta Wale is still the King of African Dancehall and he is still reigning. The 'After the storm' albuhad a lot of mega hit tracks which featured couple of Ghanaian and International Super Stars. Information reaching the office of sintimBlog indicate that the "Reign" album by Shatta Wale is one of a kind and it's going to be the best thing that has ever happened in Ghana Music industry and to Dancehall music at large.
Shatta Wale see this album as his major breakthrough into the international market as he has already conquered Ghana and Africa.
Although date and venue for the album launch hasn't been yet scheduled but it is alleged that, "reign" album by Shatta Wale will be released soon this December or come early January next year.
